Tratum Technologies has primarily three types of Engagement model to provide our services. They are:
Flexible / Customer Centric Model:
This model involves providing professional services to customers for a project or undertaking a project for a customer in the Onsite-Offshore delivery model.. link to Onsite-Offshore Delivery model
Partnership Based Model:
This model will involve a partnership between the companies, providing multiple services, which include conceptualization of product extension strategy, product development, custom adaptor development, implementation, QA, upgradation, ODC/DDC, migration and support services.
Offshore Consultant Based model:
This model would involve providing services to customers under a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) Contract or a Joint Venture between the companies to leverage each other’s strengths.
A typical relationship may start with a customer-based model and could evolve to a stronger and long term relationship as customer confidence and commitments grows. There are possibilities of customers choosing a higher-level association from the beginning of the relationship depending on the customer requirement and commitment. We as a company are open to a contractual possibility in any of the above level based on the customers’ need.

The Onsite Offshore Model
Our onsite – offshore Model represents all the life cycle activities of a software development project executed by teams working onsite and offshore in cohesion to deliver an effective solution.
The first phase of the project, project initiation, involves contract negotiation and signing. The project start date and scheduled timeline and cost are detailed in the proposal.
Development phases i.e. Requirements Analysis, High Level Design, System & Performance Testing Support and Implementation are executed onsite due to their inherent nature requiring a lot of interaction with the client personnel. Executing these phases onsite helps reduce the cycle time and offers better and effective control to our clients to define their requirements accurately.
The other phases i.e. Detailed Design, Development and Testing are executed offshore and can be carried out effectively based on the business requirements and design.
To reduce the cycle time and leverage the cost advantages of offshore resources, a few of the onsite activities like High Level Design, Bug fixes during system acceptance testing, Performance and Acceptance Testing can be supported offshore.
Outsourcing software development is being recognized as a key strategic tool, which creates a significant competitive advantage for development of the Solution. Advantages in shifting work offshore include:
- Substantial growth in productivity due to increased throughput, and vastly lowered cost structure
- Risk sharing through lower fixed costs and overheads for our clients
- Access to external resources
- Retained domain/business knowledge (subject to client’s interests)
Transfer of worries about development team ramp up and ramp down, high cost expansion of facilities, the problem of staff turnover and the continual need to upgrade to newer technologies to the offshore development partner.
